Dave’s Dog World takes great pride in developing a dog’s disposition through social interaction with other four-legged friends.  All dogs need some form of exercise depending on their breed, size, health and age.  We will develop a customized exercise program to suit both you and your pet. 

Our service offers unsurpassed benefits to both you and your loving dog.  Your dog will not experience a stressful, closed and cramped environment rather experience a social, outdoor and cage-free environment.  Your dog will be free to romp and play thus alleviating the stresses of modern life, such as staying alone for hours every day.

Our service area covers the following: Dufferin Grove, Bickford, Trinity Bellwoods,   The Annex, Liberty Village , Beaconfield Village , Sorauren and High Park .

This is an exciting time in which the animal-human bond can actually begin as you develop and implement a structured and safe environment for your new family member.  Dave’s Dog World will work very closely with you to implement a step-by-step social development plan.  Initially, we suggest two puppy visits per day.

There are various benefits to both you and your puppy:

• Implementing structure and routine specially if you are away for a long period of time
• Mental stimulation through exercise and play
• Relieves some of the boundless puppy energy
• Lots of cuddling and talking to your new family member encouraging its development as your puppy begins to recognize its name and basic commands.

All puppy visits include:

• Lots of play and short walk
• Cleaning and changing towels and blankets in crate
• Sanitizing crate with vinegar and water
• Cleaning and washing puppy if necessary due to accident in crate
• Fresh water and food (if required)
• A daily progress report.

Our unique service proposition is that all activities are full of fun, energetic and enthusiastic play.   Positive pack play improves behaviour, and improved behaviour develops greater socialization.  Let your dog be part of a pack!  And enjoy all the socialization benefits of positive pack dynamics.  All dogs, regardless of size and breed are treated as equal and are expected to demonstrate positive temperament.  

Our group dog adventures are one hour in length and can take place in any of the seven parks visited by Dave’s Dog World and dog friends.

A customized exercise plan is carefully followed for each dog as we realize that every dog is unique possessing individual physical requirements.

All dog walking adventures include:

• Real exercise through walking, running, chasing and playing with other four-legged friends
• Mental stimulation through providing a fun environment
• Attention by qualified professional, taking preventative measures to ensure safety
• Plenty of water to avoid dehydration
• Basic obedience through positive reinforcement
• First day and/or periodic progress report
• A discussion of any concerns regarding your pet’s behaviour. If any issues are observed, we will suggest training that will aid your dog in developing and retaining proper dog social skills.

Your dog will experience the ultimate Doggy Daycare in the GTA!  Your dog deserves the best.  Dave’s Dog World offers a truly unique doggy daycare experience as your dog will be involved in four different group outings, visiting four different parks.  Your loving pet will definitely be both mentally and physically stimulated.

Doggy daycare services are provided within the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As part of this service, we will also pick-up and drop-off your pet.

All doggy daycare services include:

• Real exercise through walking, running, chasing and playing with other four-legged friends
• Mental stimulation through providing a fun, outdoor environment
• Constant preventative measures taken to ensure the safety of your pet
• Plenty of water throughout the day to avoid dehydration
• Basic obedience through positive reinforcement
• First day and/or periodic progress report
• A discussion of any concerns regarding your pet’s behaviour. If any issues are observed, we will suggest training that will aid your dog in developing and retaining proper dog social skills.

Dave’s Dog World provides personalized pet care as you would provide in your home.  Your dog is treated as part of the family.  Your pet will not experience a stressful, closed and cramped environment often felt at kennels.  Rather, your dog will enjoy all the comforts and enjoyments of life during its stay.

Specifically, dogs that are boarding with us are part of the doggy daycare experience, and must be socialized to function within such an energized environment.  Therefore, Dave’s Dog World will only board dogs that are already familiar with our services.
